I should have set this up long ago.

I did have a website, a while ago, where I would share my musings and my freelance work, but the return on investment for it never really made sense to me. I’m not a website designer. I’m not really visually artistic at all. I understand the need for good design. We eat with our eyes first, right? But I have no talent for it, and it’s never been something I’ve wanted to improve at.

A career limiting attitude, that one.

Another career limiting attitude I’ve long held is that if something isn’t perfect, I can’t bear to share it. I could vividly imagine my many haters, imagined and real (mostly imagined), using any imperfection as an opportunity to tear me down. And so I held off on releasing things until they were perfect. Or until I couldn’t bear to have whatever it was in me any more.

It stems from a fear of failure, one I battle with every day. You can’t fail if you never try, right? And I’m lucky enough to get away with not really needing to try when I don’t want to. I’m “lucky” enough to have been born into a position where my fear could win.

I decided at the start of this year that I wouldn’t let that happen any more. And it’s a constant struggle, but I think I’m succeeding in it.

Anyway, that’s why this site exists. I have started writing and releasing fiction and I wanted to provide readers with a place to go so they could see more of my stuff. If you’re here when it has only just launched, I’m afraid there’s not all that much to see. But it will grow.

For now, you’ll see links to a few things, but I’ll add them below for you as well.
